About me
My name is Lisa Marcum. I've been involved in education for about 20 years. I was an English teacher for 8 years, and I have been a high school librarian since 2014. I have been involved with several library organizations, including AISLE, AASL, RAILS, and ALA since starting my library career. I am passionate about the importance of all libraries, and the value of every school having a working library with a certified library staff. I have worked at the high school level for all of my career, but I have also been a lead librarian and worked with librarians from all levels. I have presented several times before, most recently at AASL this past fall. Feel free to reach out to talk about advocacy and building a reading culture in your building!
